Purchase Order Financing |

Purchase Order Financing is a form of financing and source of capital which
enables borrowers that do not qualify for traditional bank working capital
financing or who need more financing or loans than are currently unavailable
from banks or factors. |

|
Import Financing |
Trade Finance / Import Finance always involves
at least two parties; the seller / exporter and
the buyer / importer. The importer and the
exporter settle their payment mechanism in
various ways. |
|
|
|
|
Export Financing |
Export financing is not only critical for the
individual Exporter but also for the country as
it directly affects the balance of payments of
the exporting country. |

Letters of Credit |
Letter of Credit (LC) is a powerful tool of
international trade. There are two types of
Letters of Credit; the Documentary Letter of
Credits used in trade finance, and Standby
Letter of Credit (SB Letter of Credit) which in
essence is a bank guaranty. US banks issue SB
Letters of Credit because they cannot issue bank
guarantees due to regulatory reasons. |

|
Invoice Factoring |
Invoice Factoring and Accounts Receivable
Financing takes several forms depending on the
structure of the loan facility that the finance
company or bank has provided. The funds
provider, the Factor, actually purchases the
receivable from the ‘borrower’ the seller of the
receivable without recourse to the seller. |

|
|
Working Capital |
Working capital financing refers to the funding
companies need to run their day to day
operations as opposed to long term funding
needs, large capital expenditures, etc. |
|
|
|
|
Forfaiting |
Forfaiting can be described as the private
placement of medium and long term trade
receivables. A typical example is where an
exporter, say a US company, has made a large
sell to a foreign entity or country and the US
Exim Bank has not insured 100% of the
receivable. |
